Win tickets for Auckland Arts Festival 2016

Auckland Arts Festival kicks off 2 March and we can’t wait! There’s so many great events to go to and we want to share the love with our readers. We have a double pass to give away for each of the below events.

Street meets elite: Boasting a stellar cast of world-class breakdancers and a world champion BMX flatlander and basketball freestyler, 360 ALLSTARS turns the concept of traditional circus on its head. With looping beat box genius Sam Perry playing ringmaster and Gene Peterson providing a live soundtrack, 360 ALLSTARS connects the street with the elite to deliver a radical urban circus.

Outdoor adventure: Using flaming flower-pots and cool cast iron contraptions, the French fire alchemists Carabosse transform the Auckland Domain into an otherworldly fire-garden. Roam through blazing landscapes and be warmed by fiery scrap metal sculptures as musicians, dreamers, storytellers and old-soul firebrands create a fairground of fire where one’s deepest imaginings can be set free.

Aotearoa Theatre: In this surprising new comedy, a policeman, a priest and a blind man look for clues that lead to the missing playwright Bruce Mason. Beautifully written by Carl Bland (360: A Theatre of Recollections), and punctuated by the songs of Maori show bands, in Te Pō finding Bruce Mason is a matter of life, death and catching a big fish.
