Inspired by and aligned with the world-class Austin City Limits Music Festival, Auckland City Limits fuses the best elements with a New Zealand flavour, creating an event that celebrates the spirit and heritage of Auckland. We’re beyond excited for what’s set to be an epic festival so we couldn’t be happier that we are giving our readers a chance to win a double pass to Auckland City Limits on 3 March 2017 at Western Springs.
Beck, Justice, Grace Jones and Future and Young Thug are amongst over thirty acts performing at the five stage, full day music festival at Western Springs.
Also featured on the bill is the most exciting new name in local hip-hop JessB and Alien Weaponry will also be bringing their uniquely powerful brand of Te Reo Māori and metal to the City Limits stage. Tickets are available now from Ticketmaster.
AND as an added bonus Auckland Kiddie Limits returns for a second year as part of the fun and boasts an incredible star-studded lineup to cater for the youngest demographic and their parents, a “festival within a festival”.
Children 10 years old and under get in free to ACL, and while they are welcome in all corners of the festival, Kiddie Limits is a fun-filled zone where parents and kids can hang through the day to enjoy music, activities and exclusive food offerings.
The legendary Finn, erstwhile host of the 95bFM kids show, has once again curated the musical and entertainment lineup. Performers include Christchurch duo Itty Bitty Beats, winners of the 2016 Best Children’s Song and Best Children’s Album.
Activities in Auckland Kiddie Limits 2018 include pirate games, a photo booth, karaoke, face painting, temporary tattoos, and workshops in paper plane making, magic, balloon twisting, and jewelry.
